Lesa Kirksey

Lesa C. Kirksey, age 68, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee.

 Born on May 27, 1957, Lesa was the cherished daughter of Aubrey and Edith Hinchey Davidson.

 A passionate and dedicated genealogist, Lesa devoted countless hours to uncovering the rich history of families in Stewart County and beyond. Her meticulous research illuminated numerous stories of the past, preserving legacies for future generations and earning her deep respect among historians and relatives alike.

 Lesa also found great joy in the art of quilting and hand stitching, creating beautiful handmade treasures that she generously shared with family and friends. These heartfelt gifts, passed down through the years, will continue to warm hearts and serve as enduring reminders of her creativity and generosity.

 Above all, Lesa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who delighted in sharing family memories, teaching her loved ones about their ancestry, and weaving the threads of their shared history into meaningful conversations.

 She leaves behind her devoted husband of 42 years, Mark Anthony Kirksey; son, Matthew Kirksey (Shanele); daughter, Rita Justice (Eric); and grandchildren, Jack Henry and Vivian Kirksey; and Cameron and Isaac Kirksey. Her legacy of love and family connection will live on through them.

A celebration of Lesa's life, memorial reception will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home in Dover, Tennessee.
