Leo Clay

Leo W. Clay, age 86, of Cunningham, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at Gateway Medical Center. A graveside service will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Tuesday, April 24, at 11:00 am with Rev. Steve Philips officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, April 23 at Anglin Funeral Home. Mr. Clay was born September 13, 1925 in Virginia, son of the late Joseph Leonard, Sr. and Linda Stanley Clay. He was a Veteran of the Korean War where he served in the US Air Force, he also worked at the Nyrstar Zinc Plant. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Harvey Clay, Cunningham, children, Debbie Mills, Christiansburg, VA, Terri Gillespie, Clarksville, Robin Oliver, Dover, Jennifer Clarke, Clarksville, brother, Edward Clay, Douglasville, GA, sisters, Lura Kiser, Kingsport, TN, Virgie Boggs, Pound, VA, 13 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
