Leo Anderson

Leo Anderson, 85, Stewart, TN, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Sherrill and Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery, Stewart, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday and from 12:00-2:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Dec. 29, 1924 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Hans and Elizabeth Watkins Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a retired U.S. Airforce veteran serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam conflict. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susie Kiana Anderson. Survivors include his sons, Jerry Anderson, Clarksville, TN, David Anderson, Clarksville, TN, Alan Anderson, Dover, TN, Larry Anderson, Dover, TN, and Billy Anderson, Brevard, NC; daughters, June Schuff, Cumberland City, TN and Roberta Gentry, Prattville, AL; sisters, Blanche Schmidt, Tenn. Ridge, TN, Myrtle Tourtlott, Cadiz, KY and Ruby Burkhart, Woodlawn, TN; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the U.S. Airforce, Wendell Gentry, Robert Nance, Tim Melton, Zachary Melton, Matthew Anderson and John Bass. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of the Hurricane Creek Baptist Church.
