Lela Straughn

Lela Frances Straughn, 81, Dover, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Manor House of Dover. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY with Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. She was born November 6, 1929 in Oakland, CA daughter of the late Kenneth and Thelma Drum Thomas. Ms. Straughn was a US Airforce veteran, a homemaker and a christian. Survivors include Andrew Straughn, Ft. Meyers, FL, Thomas Straughn, Zephyrhills, FL, Francis Straughn, Largo, FL, Kenneth Straughn, Tucson, AZ, Daniel Straughn, Shepherd, TX, and Mary Breault, Dover, TN; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dennis Taylor, Jeff Janes and friends.
