Laverne Luffman

Mildred Laverne Luffman, 76, Dover, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 10:00am at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 5-8:00pm and on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 9-10:00am at Anglin Funeral Home. She was born May 29, 1936 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Herbert and Dixie Bush Ross. Mrs. Luffman was an Inspector for Osh Gosh B'Gosh and a member of Bear Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Luffman and Timothy Luffman and daughter, Karen Luffman. Survivors include her husband, James Luffman, Dover, TN; son, Jimmy Luffman (Bonnie), Dover, TN; sister, Mavis Sexton, Tenn. Ridge, TN and grandson, Ethan Luffman, Dover, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
