Laverne Gillum

Mrs. Laverne Gillum, age 86 of Indian Mound, TN, passed away, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Diversicare of Dover. She was born, October 28, 1933 in Woodlawn, TN, daughter of the late Ollie and Willie Waynick Morrow. Mrs. Gillum deeply loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Gillum and sister, Robbie Jones.

Survivors include her son, Darrell Gillum (Donna), Indian Mound; grandsons, Derik Gillum (Christine) and Devin Gillum (Aneesa); and great grandchildren, Garrett and Kaylee Gillum and Emma, Amira, and Aiden Gillum.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN, with Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Pallbearers will be Darrell Gillum, Derik Gillum, Devin Gillum, Chris Bowers, Dylan Bowers, Terry Bowers, and Anthony Grizzard.
