Lathan Brantley Keatts, 89, Dover, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Manor House of Dover. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Wilson and Wally Vinson officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will Friday, May 13, 2011 from 7-8:30 pm and Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 1-2:00 pm. He was born April 17, 1922 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Grant and Sonia Hall Keatts. Mr. Keatts was retired from the State of TN Dept. of Education, member of the American Legion, served as a Grand Jury Foreman, active with the Meals on Wheels, volunteer and guide at the Surrender House, US Marine WWII veteran and attended First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by two brothers and one sisters. Survivors include his wife, Audie Vinson Keatts, Dover, TN and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be James Vinson, Jonathan Vinson, Wally Vinson, Bill Pickering, Ronnie Lankford, Jim Hicks, Tim Lankford and David Simmons.
