Larue Cherry

Ettie LaRue Cherry, 90, of Hixson, TN, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011, at her residence. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 15, at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN, with Rev. Don Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 12:00 until the time of service Tuesday. Mrs. Cherry was born March 19, 1921 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late John and Mary Jewel Moore Vaughan. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert LeRoy Cherry. Survivors include her daughter, Gail Lovelace (Bill), Hixson, TN, sister, Jean Atkins, Dover, grandchildren, Grant, Kelley, and Cory Lovelace, and great grandchildren, McCain Merren, Garrett, Parker McKencie, Catey, and Claire Lovelace. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
