Lance Burkhart

Lance Burkhart, age 30, of Dover, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020. He was born February 23, 1990 at Clarksville, TN, son of Mickey Burkhart and Stephanie Shemwell. Lance was a graduate of Stewart County High School and attended Dyers Creek First Church of God. He worked at the Tennessee Ridge Water Department and was an avid fisherman and duck hunter.

Lance is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judy Madding, and paternal grandfather, Gene Burkhart.

He is survived by his children, Gradyn and Londyn Burkhart of Dover, mother, Stephanie Shemwell (Zach), Dover, father, Mickey Burkhart (Terri Dudley), Pigeon Forge, TN, brother, Devin Burkhart, Woodlawn, TN, maternal grandparents, Gary and Linda Earhart, Dover, paternal grandmother, Peggy Burkhart, Big Rock, TN, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
