Kenneth Dean Simpson

Mr. Kenneth Dean Simpson, age 78, of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away peacefully at Signature Healthcare in Erin, TN. He was born on September 3, 1947, the beloved son of Ralph and Bessie Paseka Simpson of O'Neill, NE.

Kenneth loved his family unconditionally and cherished the time he spent with them, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. He loved the Lord and encouraged his family to follow in the Lord's path. Kenneth served his country loyally in the U.S. Navy for 22 years. He was deeply proud of his years of service and honored to stand as a veteran who dedicated his life to protecting our country.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Dianne M. Simpson, and his brothers, Eugene, Donald, and Mike Simpson.

Kenneth leaves behind his precious children: his son, Matthew Simpson (Jennifer) of Erin, TN; his daughters, Jamie Cavness (Eugene) of Waverly, TN, and Ashlynn Hamm (Jameson) of Dover, TN; his brother, Robert Simpson of Wyoming, MN; his sister, Virginia Peterson of Stanton, NE; grandchildren, Christopher Simpson, Cheyenne Lane of Waverly, TN, Connor and Kennedi Simpson of Erin, TN, Weston Simpson, Abilene and Waylon Hamm of Dover, TN and beloved dog, Hemi.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Dover, TN.
