Kenneth Cherry

Mr. Kenneth D. Cherry, age 77, of Dover, TN, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN. He was born August 17, 1940 in Stewart County, TN, son of the late Edward D. and Ethel Sexton Cherry. Mr. Cherry was a custodian at Marshall Elementary School. Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Hilton Cherry, Wayne Cherry, sisters, Ethel Mann, Mildred Shepherd, Sibyl Ross, and Eleanor Wallace. Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Ruth Atkins Cherry, sons, Dale Cherry, Terry Cherry, brother, Alfred Mann, grandchildren, Anthony Cherry, Johnathan Cherry, Lindsey Cherry, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday, June 4, 2018 at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Willis Castile officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30-8:00pm Sunday June 3, 2018 at Anglin Funeral Home, and Monday from 9:00-11:00am prior to the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Nick Hicks, Carlos Nichols, Ricky Wallace, Ken Hicks, Johnathan Cherry, Terry Cherry, and Anthony Cherry. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
