James Kelly Byrd, 77, Indian Mound, TN passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 12:00 pm at the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN with Jeff Wallace and Verlon Pritchett officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born May 11, 1935 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Thomas and Flossie Smith Byrd. Mr. Byrd was a barber at Curtis Barber Shop, Clarksville, TN and a member of Dyer's Creek Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Grizzard Byrd, Indian Mound, TN; son, Blake (Judy) Byrd, Indian Mound, TN; brothers, Bobby (Cookie) Byrd, Dover, TN, Jimmy (Thelma) Byrd, Dover, TN, and Bill (Eva) Byrd, Oak Ridge, TN; sister, Lillian (Ralph) Rogers, Toledo, OH and grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Byrd, Indian Mound, TN. Pallbearers will be Joel Byrd, Brian Byrd, John Parker, Wayne Dennis, Gilbert Vaughn, and Keith Grizzard. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy R. Smith, Tim Curtis and Bill Detalente.
