Ms. Nelda Kay Borders, age 79, of Dover, TN passed away, Thursday, October 22, 2020, at her home. She was born June 4, 1941 in Penrod, KY daughter of the late Orville and Floeva Hughes Joines.
Kay was a member of the Bear Springs Baptist Church. She retired from the Tarrant County Head Start System.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Charles David Borders, Jr., and brother-in-law, John Burt.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kimberly Borders, Dover, TN, sisters, Billie Burt, Dover, Sherry Anthony (Richard), Lake Jackson, TX; her brother, Dale Joines (Freida), Lewisburg, KY; nephews, Trevor Anthony, Lake Jackson, TX, and Will Anthony, Austin, TX.
There are no planned services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover final expenses are appreciated and may be sent to Anglin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 100 Dover, TN 37058. Online condolences may be made at anglinfuneralhome.com.
