Katy Luton

Ms. Katy Luton, age 91 of Dover, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Henry County Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1928 in Bumpus Mills, Tennessee, daughter of the late Iva Agustus Wallace and Eunice Lee Walker Wallace. She attended the Bumpus Mills School for grades 1st -8th, then graduated from Trigg County High School in 1947. On May 6, 1949, she married Leon Luton. Ms. Luton was a member of the Ft. Donelson Memorial United Methodist Church. She worked as a secretary at Stewart County Farm Bureau until her retirement. After which, she began a second career working at the Stewart County Public Library.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Luton, brothers, Cecil C. Wallace, Gray I.L. Wallace, Carl W. Wallace, and Douglas H. Wallace, and her sister, Della LaRue Wallace Woodall.
She is survived by her beloved children, Mike (Elaine) Luton and Sarah (Frank) Miller, both of Dover; grandchildren, Andy Luton, Ryan Luton, Katy Miller and Abby Miller; and great grandchildren, Logan Luton, Kailey Luton, and Brittney Luton.
Graveside services will be held for friends and family at 4:30 on Friday, May 1. 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Diane Luton Blum officiating. Pallbearers will be Andy Luton, Rylan Luton, Katy Miller, Abby Miller, Steve Wallace, and Frank Wallace.
