Karen Harrison

Ms. Karen Harrison, age 72 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Dover Care Center. She was born in Stewart County, TN November 9, 1950 the beloved daughter of the late James Henry and Iva Gladys Sexton Daniel. Karen loved the Lord and was an active member of Corinth Baptist Church, Dover, TN. Karen enjoyed working many years as the secretary at the Paris Landing Inn. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Danny Gray Harrison; son, Danny G. Harrison, ll and brother, J.V. Sexton.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Schmittou (Todd) of Palmyra, TN; sisters, Naomi Marshall and Nelda Parker both of Dover, TN; grandchildren, Chelsea Hernandez and Kacey Buchanan; great-grandchildren, James Hernandez, Trea Hernandez and Hayes Buchanan. She also leaves behind her faithful dog, Toby.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at Corinth Baptist Church at 3:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and continue until the hour of the funeral service with Bro. Carl Newberry officiating. Burial will follow at Daniel Cemetery, Dover, TN with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
