J.W. Royals, 76, Dover, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Dyer's Creek Church of God with Rev. Jeff Wallace and Verlon Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday and from 9:00 -11:00 am Thursday at Dyer's Creek Church of God. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born January 21, 1934 in Jasper, FL son of the late James and Janie Byrd Royals. Mr. Royals was retired from the U.S. Army serving during the Korean and Vietnam conflict, retired from the Civil Service, member of Dyer's Creek Church of God, member of the Historical Society and was in the Stewart Co. Library Club.Survivors include his wife, Myrna Wallace Royals, Dover; sons, Jay Royals (Rita) and Jeff Royals (Cathy), both of Dover; brother, Lamar Royals, FL; sister, Mavis Daniels, KS; grandchildren, Kelsey Royals, Megann Fair, Jake Royals and great granddaughter, Hadley Fair. Military will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dyer's Creek Church of God's Creative Ministries Puppet Team, 970 Hwy 79, Dover, TN 37058.
