June Asher

Mrs. June Asher, age 74,of Dover, passed away April 9,2011 at her residence. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 11,2011, at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lacon Cemetery, Lacon, IL. Mrs. Asher was born September 12,1934 the daughter of the late Joseph Oral Clyde and Emily Davis Clyde Jason. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Swanson, daughter, Carla Appel, brother Roger Jason, and two sisters, Orla Barnett and Mabel Fandel. She is survived by her husband, Robert Asher of Dover, a grandson raised as a son, Matt (Laura) Appel, Jamestown, Virginia, Step daughters, Debbie Brooks, White House, TN, Cathy Fairley, Morton, IL, brother, Jim Jason, Lacon, IL, sister, Sandy Sheir, Lacon, IL, 4 Grandchildren,3 step Grandchildren,1 great grandchild and 2 Step Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Asher was a member of iron Mountain Eastern Star, Stewart County Senior Citizens Center and the American legion in Lacon, IL. Memorials may be made to the Shriners.
