Julia Smith, 90, Cumberland City, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Artist Waynick officiating. Burial will follow in the Tex Smith Cemetery, Cumberland City, TN. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 2:30-5:00 pm and on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 11:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home.
She was born April 5, 1922 in Anderson, IN daughter of the late Bill and Georgia Austin Hexamer. Mrs. Smith was a retired nurse. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant brother, William Hexamer and brother, William L. Hexamer. Survivors include her husband, Weaver Smith, Cumberland City, TN and sisters, Mary Hartley, Anderson, IN and Margaret Adams, Louisville, KY. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
