Judy Griffin

Mrs. Judy Shepherd Austin Griffin, age 77 of Indian Mound, TN was called home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 29, 1946 in Clarksville, TN the daughter of the late Roby Smith and Minnie Earlene Shepherd. Judy worked many years as a bank loan officer. She loved gardening and enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and a friend to everyone. Judy was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Austin and second husband, Lacy Floyd Griffin.

She leaves behind her loving sons, Kevin Austin (Amy), Barry Austin (Kim); step-son, Donald Griffin (Deanna); sister, Gayle Lee (Danny); grandchildren, Parker Austin (Rachel), Katie Camp (Evan) and Fallon Austin; great grandchildren, Ellis Camp and Lawson Camp, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 beginning at 8:30 and continue until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Brian Grasty officiating. Burial will follow at Austin Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Those serving as pallbearers, Parker Austin, Evan Camp, Donald Griffin, Nicholas Bouder, Jacob Hicks and Todd Moore. Honorary pallbearers, Danny Lee, Pete Trump and Danny Outlaw.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank you to the staff at the Jubilee House, Clarksville, TN for the loving care and devotion given to their mother during her stay there.
