Judy Davis

Mrs. Judy Davis, age 77, of Indian Mound, TN, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at her residence, with her devoted daughter and family by her side. She was born on February 13, 1948, in Paris, TN, the beloved daughter of Leon and Elizabeth VanCleave Foust.

Judy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend to all who knew her. She found great joy in working in her flower gardens, nurturing them until beautiful blooms surrounded her home. Judy was also well known for her award-winning cheesecake and was proud to have received 15 Blue Ribbons in recognition of her baking talents.

A woman of deep faith, Judy loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the First Christian Church, Dover, TN.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 35 years, John Davis, and her brother, Billy Foust.

Judy leaves behind her beloved daughter, Dana Chango, and son-in-law John of Indian Mound, TN; grandchildren, David Chango and Eli Chango, both of Indian Mound, TN; John “CJ” Chango Jr. (Kodi); great-grandchild, Carson Chango all of Cheyenne, WY; nieces, Derrinda Thomas (Randy) and Lesa Foust; great-nephews, Jeremy Thomas (Jen) and Daniel Thomas; great-great-niece, Harley Grace Thomas all of McKenzie, TN; and aunt Natalie Foust of Milan, TN.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the First Christian Church of Dover, TN, with date and time to be announced.
