Martha Joyce Atkins, 72, Carlisle, TN passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Signature Healthcare, Clarksville, TN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Charles Thornburg officiating. Burial will follow in the Myers Cemetery, Palmyra, TN. Visitation will be on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 4-8 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. She was born September 28, 1940 in Carlisle, TN daughter of the late Robert L. and Lola Williams Steeley. Joyce was retired from Acme Boot Co., active member of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers and a member of Elk Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Keith Atkins and brothers, Sammie Steeley and Jesse Steeley. Survivors include her son, Jerry Wayne Atkins, Madison, TN; brother, John Steeley, Dover, TN; sisters, Lorene Lehman, Clarksville, TN, Rebecca Campbell, Dover, TN and Betty Dotson, McEwen, TN; grandsons, Brandon Atkins and Ryan Atkins and daughters in law, Glenda Atkins and Pam Atkins. Pallbearers will be Richie Steeley, Kevin Campbell, Mark Mullins, Hershel Lehman, Greg Harrell, Kyle Culpepper and Zack Culpepper.
