Joseph Welch

Joseph Carleton Welch, age 75, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his residence. Private services were held at the Welch Family Cemetery. He was born November 10, 1937, in Counce, TN, son of the late Joseph and Sybil Welch. Mr. Welch was retired U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star recipient, and owned and operated Carl's Mid State Rent-All, Clarksville, TN. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gisela Merkl Welch, one brother and one sister. Survivors include his children, Evan Welch (Chasity), Clarksville, TN, Gwen Douty (Gary), Indian Mound, TN, Angelica Rowe (Sean), Lebanon, MO, and ten grandchildren.
