Joseph O'Shia

Mr. Joseph L. O'Shia, Sr., age 94 of Stewart passed away, Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Signature Health Care, Erin, TN. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home, with Masonic Rites. Burial will be at 1:30 pm Monday at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be at 12:00 Sunday until the time of service at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born January 5, 1920, in Cadet, MO, son of the late Floyd and Mary Groverow O'Shia. Mr. O'Shia was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, and retired Civil Service Mechanic. He was a member of the Moriah Grove Masonic Lodge #301.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Frances O'Shia. Survivors include his wife, Mae Lynn O'Shia, Stewart, TN, son, Jospeh L. O'Shia, Jr., California, sisters, Audrey Nation and Shelia Carpenter, two grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Moriah Grove Masonic Lodge #301.
