Johnny Elliott

Johnny Elliott, age 70, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Jackson-Madison General Hospital. Johnny was born on January 20, 1954, the beloved son of Hughie John and Birdie Cook Elliott.

He was a dedicated Mason at Moriah Grove Lodge #301 in Dover, TN, and proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. A graduate of Stewart County High School, Johnny was known for his strong work ethic, retiring as an electrician from TVA. In his younger years, Johnny loved the outdoors, especially riding horses and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hughie and Birdie Elliott, his cherished wife, Wanda Wallace Elliott, and his sister, Kay Buchanan.

Johnny leaves behind his loving family, including daughters Stacey Henson (Jay) and Tracey Smith (Shea); son, Michael Elliott; brother, David Elliott; sisters, Nancy Martin, Judy Bush, and Brooxie Carter; and grandchildren, Logan Elliott, Holly Elliott, C.J. Henson, Averi Smith, and Johnathan Elliott; precious great-grandchildren, Leni and Brooks.

A graveside service to honor Johnny’s life will be held at Stewart County Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Bro. William Gray officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Martin, Logan Elliott, C.J. Henson, Shea Smith, Jay Henson, Dustin Elliott, and Eddie Ford.
