John Summers

John Dwight Summers, age 76 of Indian Mound, TN was called home to be with the Lord February 7, 2022 at Tennova Medical Center, Clarksville, TN. He was born May 7, 1945 the son of the late John ‘Doodle’ and Elsie Summers. He was a hard worker and provider for his family, retiring as a foreman with a construction company and a farmer.

Those left behind to cherish his memory, the love of his life, his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Jo Summers, daughter; Leahjon (Shawn) Heflin, precious grandchildren; Kaylee Heflin, and Lane (Milynn) Page, and many dear friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dunbar Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 am and continue until the hour of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Dunbar Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Indian Mound, TN with Bro Mitchell Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Dunbar Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
