Joe Steele

Joe Acree Steele, age 76, of Dover, passed away, Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home. He was born, October 27, 1938 in Model, Tennessee, son of the late Otis and Katie Mae Acree Steele. Mr. Steele attended the Church of Christ and was Security Officer for Stewart County Schools for 17 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Otis Edward Steele, and a grandchild, Colton Steele
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Turner Steele, Dover, son, Jeffry Steele (Alaina), Dover, sisters, Norma Compton, Dover, Mary Mills, Nashville, and three grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. James Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
