Joe Russell

Joe Edgar Russell, age 93, of Dover, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center, Clarksville, TN. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Glen Glenn to officiate, burial will be in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of service Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born January 16, 1920 in Model, TN, son of the late Walter and Clementine Hargrove Russell. Mr. Russell was a self employed carpenter and a Christian. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Rudy Russell, William Roscoe Russell, Jesse Damen Russell, Calvin Madison Russell, sisters, Izalle Russell, and Zelphie Murphy. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Boren Russell, Dover, son, Ricky (Amy) Russell, Dover, grandchildren, Lynsey and Ryan Russell, both of Dover, sister, Hazel Russell, Dover. Pallbearers will be Jason Boren, Randy Boren, Robert Lee Boren, Mark Milliken, Keith Earhart, Jeff Turner, Jack Boren, and Freddie Joe Russell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Herbert Lee Borens, and Ryan Joe Russell.
