Jerry Atkins

Jerry Neal Atkins, 66, Dover, died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born April 18, 1943 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Harold and Charlene Threatt Atkins. Mr. Atkins was retired from TVA and a member of Wyatts Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Atkins and Mildred Tucker. Survivors include his wife, Mary Minor Atkins, Dover; sons, Jeff Atkins and Steve Atkins (Heather), both of Dover; sister, Rita McGee, Dover and granddaughter, Lori Kate Atkins. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
