Mrs. Jean Vaughan Atkins, age 89, of Stewart County, TN passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab in Clarksville, TN. She was born April 27, 1929 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late John O. Vaughan and Jewell Moore Vaughan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ira C. Atkins, brother, B.B. Vaughan, and sister, LaRue Cherry.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Atkins and wife his Rossan of Clarksville, TN, Jeff Atkins of Chattanooga, TN, daughter, Jan Page and husband Mike of Paris, TN, as well as six grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at the Seay Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN with Rev. Dr. Robert Webster officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home.
In lieu of memorials donations may be made to the Stewart County Library, 102 Natcor Dr. Dover, TN 37058.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
