Janie Lemons

Ms. Janie Lemons, age 73 of Big Rock, TN passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Thursday, December 16, 2021. She was born December 14, 1948 in Princeton, KY, daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Young Welker. Janie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Lemons, daughter, Vonda Hunter, son, Stacy Boyd, brother, Carter Welker, and sisters, Sheila Harrison, and Eddie Sue Fielder.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jerry Lynn Dodd; grandchildren, Sheila Hunter, Jacob Hunter, and Preston Dodd; great grandchildren, Liam, Sam, Jude, and Madi Grace; brothers, Tommy Welker (Rita), Dale Welker (Sara), Carl Welker (Darlene), and Mitchell Welker (Jackie); and sister, Elizabeth Fitzhugh (Mike).

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home continuing until the hour of the memorial service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Whitford Cemetery.
