Janice Peppers

Mrs. Jan Peppers, age 72, of Dover,TN, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris,TN, after a long battle with COPD. She was born on October 8, 1947 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Lloyd Leslie and Jacqueline Lee Curtwright Johnson. She was raised by grandparents John and Lorene Curtwright of Granite City, Il. She moved to Dover, TN, with her family in 1975.

Jan worked many years for Ely Walker, Osh Kosh and as a cashier for McIntosh IGA before retirement. Many people remember her loving smile. She is survived by her husband, Jim Peppers whom she married on January 11, 1965, son, Danny (Carrie) Peppers and a daughter Cindy Oliver, both of Dover,TN. 3 Grandchildren, Lyndsey Wolfe Raines, Amanda Glasgow and Jessica Peppers, a great grandson, Kash Brewster. Brothers, Jeff Johnson, Highland, IL, and Billy Stewart of Alton, IL. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Nathan Peppers.

Visitation will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 17 and from 12:00 noon to time of service, Wednesday, December 18. Funeral Services will start at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, at Anglin Funeral Home with her son, Danny Peppers officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
