Ms. Janetta ‘Ma’ Nelson, age 91, of Dover, TN, passed away, Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home, Clarksville, TN. She was born March 21, 1929 in Model, TN to the late Henry and Hontas Wiggins Crutcher. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alvin Nelson, son, Kerry Nelson, granddaughter, Kristin Buie, son-in-law, Randall Russell, and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her loving children, Freda Lee (Jerry), Dover, Gerald Nelson (Kathy), Indian Mound, Cheryl Fitzhugh (Larry), Dover, Kimberly Russell, Dover, daughter-in-law, Toni Nelson, Dover, 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Due to concerns regarding the pandemic, private graveside services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN and online condolences to the family may be made at anglinfuneralhome.com.
