James Thomas

Mr. James Russell Thomas, age 78, of Indian Mound, TN, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of Erin.

He was born on May 23, 1948, in Christian County, KY, to the late Lyle E. Thomas and Thelma Mae Thomas. James will be remembered by his family as a loving father, brother, and cherished member of his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Jessie Thomas; brother, Robert Thomas; sisters, Marie Johnson and Carol Rorie; and step-sister, Jeanna Stevens.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Dunbar Cemetery in Indian Mound, TN. Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor James and celebrate the life he lived and the memories he leaves behind.

He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.
