James Shemwell

Mr. James Alvin Shemwell, Sr. age 73, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Dover, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was born July 28, 1946 son of the late Benjamin and Clara Shemwell. Mr. Shemwell served his country in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Kay Shemwell. Mr. Shemwell is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Kate Shemwell of St. Louis, MO, and his sister, Dolores Neumann.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Mt. View Cemetery, Dover, TN.
In lieu of flowers, please thank a veteran or make a donation to a veteran charity or organization of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
