James Perry

James T. Perry, 87, Dover, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Manor House of Dover. The funeral will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Janes officiating. Burial will be in Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday at Anglin Funeral Home. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 27, 1923 in Vale, TN son of the late James Thomas and Mallie Futrell Perry. Mr. Perry was retired from Paris Landing State Park,a farmer and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Boren Perry, Dover; son, Kelly (June Ann) Perry, Paris, TN; daughters, Vicki (David) Acres, Dover, June (Boe) Bodenhamer, Harrodsburg, KY; three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and best friend and farming buddy, Tommy Andrews. Pallbearers will be Tommy Andrews, Terry Fitzhugh, Charles Sidney Lancaster, Doug Futrell, Keith Hickman and Jason Chadwick. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny, Bill, Charles, Larry and Doug Compton, Boe Bodenhamer, David Acres, Eric Richardson and Rhey Robbins.
