James Lemons

James Felix Lemons, age 80 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Tim McDonald to officiate. Burial will be in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service Monday at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born July 27, 1934 in Carlisle, TN, son of the late Everette and Clatie Pulley Lemons. Mr. Lemons served 20 years in the United States Navy, and was a veteran of Vietnam War.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Renate Lemons, Clarksville, brother, William Reams Lemons, Dover, sister, Mary Warfield, Dover, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Virgil Ray Lemons, Frank ‘Buddy’ Lemons, Finis Edward Lemons, sisters, Willene Armstrong, Annie Ruth Lemons, and Johnny Mathis.
Pallbearers will be Terry Lemons, Mike Paxton, William Warfield, Jody Lemons, Andy Lemons, and Billy Paxton.
