James Kirby

James Kirby, age 79 of Indian Mound, TN passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN. He was born August 29, 1942 the beloved son of the late Kenneth and Mary Kirby. James proudly served his country in the Vietnam War and retired from the U.S. Army. He was a member of Carl Wallace VFW Post # 4730, Dover, TN, American Legion, Dover post 72, Dover, TN and Disabled American Veterans.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son; Francis Adam Kirby, his previous wife, Flora Kirby and three brothers.

Those left behind to cherish is memory, his wife; Joyce Hutchison Kirby, sons; Franklin Allan Kirby, Jason Kirby, James Kirby, Jr, daughter; Janice Ann Kirby Wilson and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, January 17, 2022 at 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY with Bro. William Gray officiating. Military will serve as pallbearers.
