James Everett Delaney, Jim or Jimbo to his friends, lived to be 53 years old and passed away on the afternoon of July 22, 2021 from a heart attack.
Jim lived with his wife Brenda Delaney in Dover, TN and was a graduate of the Stewart County High School class of 1986. He worked at Screaming Eagle Ready Mix and was a zealous Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Jim was also a veteran of the United States Army and served in 13B Field Artillery. He was kind and always willing to lend a hand or an ear. He was preceded in death by his father Donald V. Delaney Jr and his mother Mary Alice Delaney.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Brenda Delaney of Dover; his daughter Jamie Delaney of Clarksville; his son Steven Delaney, daughter-in-law Michelle Delaney, and their daughters Emma and Annabelle Delaney of Arkansas; and his brothers Donald V. Delaney III of Oakland Il, William P. Delaney of Clarksville, and Michael S. Delaney of Clarksville. Additionally, his memory lives on in the hearts of many family members, friends, and loved ones including many nieces, nephews, and sisters in law. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 5:00 pm with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating the service.
