James Cook

James E. “Jim” Cook, age 74 of Big Rock, TN passed away June 6, 2021 at Tennova Hospital, Clarksville, TN. He was born August 19, 1946 the son of the late Ed and Ella Passama. He worked for Rincon Roofing Company in Arizona and retired after 42 years. He proudly served his country in the US Army, serving four tours during the Vietnam War. He was proudly honored the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his courageous service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons; Kevin O’Shell, Stevie O’Shell, grandson; Eric Werner, two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 41 years marriage, Linda Carter Cook, sons; Shawn Cook (Tiffany), Tom O’Shell (Julie), Guy Cook all of AZ, daughters; Darla Werner (Scott) Big Rock, TN, Susanna Carlson (Nick) AZ, Brandy Lewis (Alex) Clarksville, TN, brother, John Cook, CA, twenty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4:00 pm until the hour of the funeral service at 6:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Del Morgan officiating.
