J. C. Wallace (Completed) - 1932 Columbus Wallace Jr., 77, Dover, died Saturday, February 13, 2010, at Dover. The funeral will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Robert Hargrove and Don Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday and from 10:00 to 12:00 Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 9, 1932 in Stewart County, son of the late Christopher Columbus and Vesta Morris Wallace. He was retired from TVA, an army veteran, member of Taylor's Chapel United Methodist Church and Moriah Grove Masonic Lodge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings Morris Wallace, Ilene Russell, Verdie Mae Atkins, and Marie Steele.
He is Survived by his wife of 59 years Ina Dillon Wallace, 3 children Sharon (Shannon) Crutcher, Ronnie Wallace, Dover, Donnie (Becky) Wallace Clarksville, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grand children. Siblings Maxine Wofford, Guthrie, KY, Ramie Simpson, Clarksville, Clarence Wallace, Indian Mound, Sammie Wallace, Stewart, Joe Wallace, Clarksville. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
