Iris Heflin

Mrs. Iris Atkins Heflin died on July 4, 2012 at her home in Big Rock, TN. Mrs. Heflin was a life-long resident of Stewart County and was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Heflin, Sr.; parents, Thomas and Lula Atkins; and brothers, Ira Atkins, Perry Atkins, and Bruce Atkins. She is survived by her son, Bailey Heflin, Jr. and two daughters, Brenda Hunter and Connie (Landon) Anderson; grandchildren, Bailey Heflin, III, Craig Hunter, Candice Hunter McQueen, Landon Anderson IV, Tinsley Anderson, and Luke Anderson; great-grandchildren, Abigail McQueen and Henry McQueen; and sister, Violet (Bud) Hargraves. The funeral for Mrs. Heflin will be Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home, 402 Donelson Parkway, Dover, TN with visitation at Anglin Funeral Home on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 5-8:00 pm and on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 12-1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sycamore Flats Church of Christ Building Fund, 139 James Wortham Rd., Big Rock, TN 37023.
