Imogene Smith, age 89 of Woodlawn, passed away Sunday, June 22, at Dover Manor Nursing Home in Dover. Visitation will be 10-11:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Long Creek Church of the Nazarene, Dover, TN, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was born December 24, 1924 in Stewart County, daughter of the late Alfred and Effie Howard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith, daughters, Sue Green, Frances Donsbach; son Orman Smith; sister Evelyn Smith, Muriel Sones, and Yvonne Mitzel; brother Everett Howard.
Survivors include her son Marion Smith, Woodlawn, daughter Carolyn Perry, Detroit MI, brother John Howard, Austin, TX, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grand children and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
