Howard Nolin

Howard Nolin, age 98, of Gallatin, TN, passed away, Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Western Kentucky Veterans Center. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ft. Donelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 until the time of service Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born January 24, 1915 in Tharpe, TN, son of the late Lewis and Lettie Jacobs Nolin. Mr. Nolin was a WWII Navy Veteran and worked for the Civil Service. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Velva Marteen Page Nolin, daughter, Jeraldine 'Jerri' Spears, sister, Pauline Rushing, and brother, Elvis Nolin. Survivors include his daughters, Linda Cannon, Cadiz, KY, Brenda Payne, Cadiz, KY, brother, Noel Nolin, Dover, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
