Hope Renz

Ms. Hope Renz, age 58, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away peacefully at Houston County Community Hospital in Erin, TN.

Born on December 23, 1966, in Cadiz, KY, she was the beloved daughter of the late John C. Knight, Jr. and Eadie Ann Page Knight.

Hope had a kind spirit and a creative soul. She found joy in reading, music, and arts and crafts, and was a member of Pugh Flat Baptist Church. Above all, she cherished being a mother - nurturing, selfless, and full of love, she considered it her greatest joy and purpose in life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hans Jorg “Yogi” Renz; her daughter, Nikkie Renz; granddaughter, Madison Rae Bush; and sister, Charity Knight.

She leaves behind her loving son, Josh Renz; her sister, Faith Clatterbuck (Alan); her niece, Paige Tidrow; and her nephew, Nathan Knight.

A graveside service to celebrate Hope’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Page Cemetery in Dover, TN, with Bro. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
