Hazel Mathis

Hazel Lucille Mathis, age 91, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away, December 22, 2015, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Anglin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Heflin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday at Anglin Funeral Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
She was born December 22, 1924 in Stewart County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Lexie and Marie Wallace. Mrs. Mathis was a hairdresser and a Baptist.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Edison Mathis. Survivors include her children, Ed Mathis, Las Vegas, NV, Donnie Mathis, Richland, NC, Carolyn Faye Horner, Dyersburg, TN, brothers, Hershell Lee Wallace, Phoenix, AZ, Hugh Wallace, Boise, ID, sister, Mary McKean, St. Louis, MO, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
