Harmon P. `Bear` Fitzhugh, 86, Dover, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00am Friday at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Wray Forrest and Bro. Randy Moore officiating. Burial will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Thursday and from 9-11 am Friday at Anglin Funeral Home.
Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born August 11, 1924 in Dover, TN son of the late Bertis and Marie Grizzard Fitzhugh. Mr. Fitzhugh was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Keel Fitzhugh, Dover; sons, David Rhea (Kimi) Fitzhugh, Paris, Charles "Mike" (Liz) Fitzhugh, Dover, Robert "Bobby" Fitzhugh, Dover; daughters, Myra "Janie" Peltier, Dover and Tanya (Jamie) Tippit, Dover; brothers, Alrick "Buck" (Dixie) Fitzhugh, Dover, Carl (Katie Lee) Fitzhugh, Paris, Nuel "Sam" (Verlon) Fitzhugh, Dover, Robert "Bob" (Norma) Fitzhugh, Granite City, IL; sister, Naomi (Jerry) Gray, Dover; grandchildren, Jeremy Fitzhugh, Paris, Ricky Woods, Dover, Shyann Fitzhugh, Dover, Tanner Fitzhugh, Dover and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Larry Fitzhugh, Jeremy Fitzhugh, Tim Cumby, Ricky Woods, Raymond Cumby and Mike Wilfong.
