Grace Samsil

Grace Gibbs Samsil, age 93, of Birmingham, Alabama (formerly of Clarksville, Tennessee), passed away on November 27, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. after a three-month stay at Trussville Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Samsil was born in Bumpus Mills, Tennessee to Benjamin and Hattie Gibbs. She is preceded in death by her parents, her six siblings, her husband of 53 years Dorris M. Samsil, and her daughter Deidre Samsil.
Survivors include her son, D. M. “Sam” Samsil Jr. and wife Meredith of Birmingham, Alabama; son Darrol Samsil and wife Victoria of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter Donna G. Samsil Klinger and husband Rocky of Lake Mary Florida; and son Dennis J. Samsil of Cadiz, Kentucky. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Pugh Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 3rd.
