Gladys Shelton

Gladys Evelyn Shelton, age 91, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at her home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. John Dale to officiate, burial will follow in the Crow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service Wednesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Inc. Dover, Tennessee.
She was born January 20, 1923 in Lafayette, Kentucky, daughter of the late Elzie and Lois Morris Clark. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Hershel W. Shelton, and brother, Hayden Clark. She was of Methodist faith.
Mrs. Shelton is survived by her son, Kenneth Shelton and wife Rita of Puryear, TN, daughter, Ann Roberson and husband Donnie of Murray, KY, five grandchildren, Greg Shelton and wife Michele of Nashville, TN, Jennifer Gray and husband Mark of Hopkinsville, KY, Matthew Roberson and Rachel Roberson of Murray, KY, Heath Shelton and wife Ronda of Hazel, KY; eight great grandchildren, Jordan, Paige, and Erin Gray of Hopkinsville, KY, Austen, Jesse, and Wyatt Shelton of Hazel, KY, Lex and Cameron Shelton of Nashville, TN, two sisters, Juanita Hanewacker of Vero Beach, FL, Nell Shelton and husband Ralph of Cumberland Furrance, TN, Brother-in-law, Daniel Shelton and wife Flora, of Eddyville, KY, three sister-in-laws, Estie McGinnis of Kentwood, MI, Allene Shelton of Nashville, TN, and Rebecca Shelton of Martin, TN.
