August 30, 1933 — December 3, 2015

Gerald Edward Phillips, 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Wallace and Bro. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Wofford Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will held on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 1:00 -8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home and on Saturday prior to the service.
He was born August 30, 1933 in Smith Grove, KY son of the late Delbert and Pearl Hammonds Phillips. Mr. Phillips was retired maintenance for Kroger, owner and operator for Phillips Taxidermy, and a member of the Sanctuary Church.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Pearl Phillips, and grandson, Scott Harris. Survivors include his wife, Lucy Scruggs Phillips, sons, Eddie Phillips (Rosie), Joelton, TN, Mark Phillips (Kelly), Cedar Hill, TN, daughters, Elaine Phillips, Joelton, TN, Joyce Penick, Joelton, TN, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Johnny Cunningham, Curtis Wallace, Greg Catignani, Brandon Catignani, Toney Catignani, Chris Conquest, Donnie Krisle and Steve Williams.
