Georgia Wofford Lyons, age 92, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at West Hills Health and Rehab in Knoxville, TN. She was born April 2, 1925 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Galen and Frances Guerin Phillips. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Bruton.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Eugene and Deborah Wofford of Knoxville, TN, grandsons, Jeffrey Wofford and Jonathan Wofford, and seven great grandchildren.
Private services were held. Burial was in the Wofford Cemetery, Dover, TN. Arrangements were entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
